MAKE SALSA ROJA AT HOME

This Salsa Roja is bold, fresh, and smoky — made with roasted tomatoes, chillies, and our house spices. Use it for tacos, rice bowls, dipping, or as a base for sauces.

INGREDIENTS

  • Plum tomatoes – 12
  • Red onion – ½
  • Fresh coriander – 20g
  • Garlic cloves – 2
  • Sea salt – 7g
  • Lime juice – 15g
  • Water – 500ml

  • Use this salsa as a topping for Birria Tacos or mix with Adobo Mayo for a smoky dip.

METHOD

  1. Roast or boil tomatoes until softened.
  2. Blend with onion, coriander, garlic, salt, lime juice, and water until smooth.
  3. Adjust seasoning and serve fresh or chilled.
